Lockdown meets Memory Lane.
Lockdown has certainly created a greater appreciation of what’s around us and memory lane trips have brought a stark reminder of what we are all missing right now. How close we get to normality in the short term is anyone’s guess, so it will be interesting to plan events and routes around the location of public loos and picnic spots if our regular haunts have to remain closed. Like everyone else, just hoping to get a few miles on the clock this month!

First taste of Lockdown.
A rollercoaster of feelings and emotions during these difficult times?
Motivation, dedication, education, contemplation.
Cancellation, limitation, desolation, staycation.
Isolation, separation, admiration, pingpong-nation. … Inebriation.
Imagination, conversation, evaluation, aspiration.
Prohibition, recognition, confrontation, reconciliation.
Anticipation, appreciation, celebration, expectation. … Inebriation.
Above all else – admiration and appreciation for the dedication of all frontline and key workers.
